Top 100 search engines including google and yahoo or Being
Top 100 search engines in your favorites lists
The Top 100 is listed at the end of the analysis.
Ask anyone which search engine they use to find information on the Internet and they will almost certainly reply: "Google." Look a little further, and market research shows that people actually use four main search engines for 99.99% of their searches: Google, Yahoo!, MSN, and Ask.com (in that order). But in my travels as a Search Engine Optimizer (SEO), I have discovered that in that .01% lies a vast multitude of the most innovative and creative search engines you have never seen. So many, in fact, that I have had to limit my list of the very best ones to a mere 100.
But it's not just the sheer number of them that makes them worthy of attention; each one of these search engines has that standard "About Us" link at the bottom of the homepage. I call it the "why we're better than Google" page. And after reading dozens and dozens of these pages, I have come to the conclusion that, taken as a whole, they are right!
The Search Homepage
In order to address their claims systematically, it helps to group them into categories and then compare them to their Google counterparts. For example, let's look at the first thing that almost everyone sees when they go to search the Internet - the ubiquitous Google homepage. That famously sparse, clean sheet of paper with the colorful Google logo is the most popular Web page in the entire World Wide Web. For millions and millions of Internet users, that Spartan white page IS the Internet.
Google has successfully made their site the front door through which everyone passes in order to access the Internet. But staring at an almost blank sheet of paper has become, well, boring. Take Ms. Dewey for example. While some may object to her sultry demeanor, it's pretty hard to deny that interfacing with her is far more visually appealing than with an inert white screen.
A second example comes from Simply Google. Instead of squeezing through the keyhole in order to reach Google's 37 search options, Simply Google places all of those choices and many, many more all on the very first page; neatly arranged in columns.
Artificial Intelligence
A second arena is sometimes referred to as Natural Language Processing (NLP), or Artificial Intelligence (AI). It is the desire we all have of wanting to ask a search engine questions in everyday sentences, and receive a human-like answer (remember "Good Morning, HAL"?). Many of us remember Ask Jeeves, the famous butler, which was an early attempt in this direction - that unfortunately failed.
Clustering Engines
Perhaps Google's most glaring and egregious shortcoming is their insistence on displaying the outcome of a search in an impossibly long, one-dimensional list of results. We all intuitively know that the World Wide Web is just that, a three dimensional (or "3-D") web of interconnected Web pages. Several search engines, known as clustering engines, routinely present their search results on a two-dimensional map that one can navigate through in search of the best answer. Search engines like KartOO and Quintura are excellent examples.
Recommendation Search Engines
Another promising category is the recommendation search engines. While Google essentially helps you to find what you already know (you just can't find it), recommendation engines show you a whole world of things that you didn't even know existed. Check out What to Rent, Music Map, or the stunning Live Plasma display. When you input a favorite movie, book, or artist, they recommend to you a world of titles or similar artists that you may never have heard of, but would most likely enjoy.
Metasearch Engines
Next we come to the metasearch engines. When you perform a search on Google, the results that you get are all from, well, Google! But metasearch engines have been around for years. They allow you to search not only Google, but a variety of other search engines too - in one fell swoop. There are many search engines that can do this, Dogpile, for instance, searches all of the "big four" mentioned above (Google, Yahoo!, MSN, and Ask) simultaneously. You could also try Zuula or PlanetSearch - which plows through 16 search engines at a time for you. A very interesting site to watch is GoshMe. Instead of searching an incredible number of Web pages, like conventional search engines, GoshMe searches for search engines (or databases) that each tap into an incredible number of Web pages. As I perceive it, GoshMe is a meta-metasearch engine (still in Beta)!
Other Alt Search Engines
Finally, almost prophetically, Google is silent. Silent! At least Speeglebot talks to you, and Nayio listens! But of course, why should Google worry about these upstarts (all 100 of them)? Aren't they just like flies buzzing around an elephant? Can't Google just ignore them, as their share of the search market continues to creep upwards towards 100%, or perhaps just buy them? Perhaps.

The question, for those who have not read it, is "Can Entropy Be Reversed?" That is, can the ultimate running down of all things, the burning out of all stars (or their collapse) be stopped - or is it hopelessly inevitable?
The question for this age, I submit, is,"Can Google Be Defeated"? Or is Google's mission "to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful" a fait accompli?
Perhaps the place to start is by reading (or re-reading) Asimov's "The Last Question." I won't give it away, but it does suggest The Answer.

In western herbal medicine, Chrysanthemum tea is drunk or used as a compress to treat circulatory disorders such as varicose veins and atherosclerosis.
In traditional Chinese medicine, chrysanthemum tea is also said to clear the liver and the eyes.It is believed to be effective in treating eye pain associated with stress or yin/fluid deficiency. It is also used to treat blurring, spots in front of the eyes, diminished vision, and dizziness. The liver is associated with the element Wood which rules the eyes and is associated with anger, stress, and related emotions. No scientific studies have substantiated these claims.

Xi Jinping new President of China Communist Party after 18th CPC national Congress
At the congress, delegates also discussed plans for economic and political reforms. But leaders maintain there are no plans for a Western-style democracy.
Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Zhijun said: "The road of political development that China is taking will certainly not be like the United Kingdom. China will take its own special path, because China is the world's biggest developing country."
59-year old Xi Jinping has been China's vice president since 2008, albeit with a much lower profile than other Chinese leaders.

It's about the difference between how I perceived myself when I smoked versus how I perceive myself since I ended my relationship with cigarettes.Here's just one aspect of my experience of the difference. First and foremost, the increase in my self-respect. I know I have beaten the most physically and psychologically addictive product man has ever seen. I'm proud of that feat. It is one of the
great accomplishments of my life.
But my self-respect doesn't just stem solely from that. Any smoker who is honest with himself or herself will have to admit that when they first started smoking, they felt guilty. Deep inside they knew it was the wrong thing to be doing. For other reasons, other perceived "benefits", they, WE, decided to overpower that feeling, suppress that guilt, ignore the thoughts that this isn't "right".
But after smoking a while, the guilt doesn't just "go away", it just goes deep into the subconscious, and we get so used to it that, ultimately, we don't "feel" it anymore. Still, it's there. Still, it affects everything we do, every day of our lives. Every decision we make is based upon a self-image that is created by the measure of our internal values. I personally believe that the station in life that we feel most comfortable with is the one that is decided by taking a measure of our value, and subtracting from that the measure of our guilt.
Should we rise above that station, we will find ways to erode it, destroy it, reject it. Witness James Dean, Jimi Hendrix, Janice Joplin, John Belushi, Elvis, Chris Farley, and on and on. As of this writing (1999), we can count Robert Downey, Jr., Christian Slater and Bill Clinton. Why are they destroying brilliant, wonderful careers? Because they don't feel worthy of them. And why not? Because they feel guilty. (I don't know if all these folks smoke or did smoke, but...)
I'm not saying that just because they smoke, they feel so guilty that they must self-destruct. I'm only saying that, for those who do or did, it plays a part.
It's said that "reformed" smokers seem smug and superior to those still smoking. I think perhaps we may seem that way to the smokers, but what I believe the smokers are actually perceiving in us is the newfound self-respect we non-smokers have discovered. This is abrasive to the smoker, because it forces the smoker toward feeling, perhaps just a tiny bit, that old repressed guilt. The pain of feeling "wrong", of doing something they know they should not. They may instinctively feel something in us that they desire so much to feel themselves. It's the pride of knowing we don't feel guilty about smoking any longer!
There are many other differences, benefits, rewards to being a non-smoker that I have realized, but this post is probably way longer than any will read anyway.
Those of you striving to end your relationship with cigarettes are on the right path. Never doubt it, never falter. Never beat yourself up because you've backslid. Know that you are in the process of healing your mind as well as your body. It may be perceived as a hard fight you've taken on, perhaps the hardest of your life. However, if you use my system,

Die oftmalige Suchbegriff-Parameterliste der Google google search skills list
Erst kuertzlich forsche ich um,wie die Google zu benuezen.Schliesslich ,Dank Gott,kann ich weiss ,was Geheim von die erfind,folgend sind deshalb die Mitteln.Hoff,dass es dich gefaellt.
Im folgenden erkläre ich die Google-URL-Suchparameter. Im Original sind diese hier zu finden: http://www.google.com/cse/docs/resultsxml.html
Die Grund-URL ist hierbei immer http://www.google.com/search? die weiteren Parameter werden in der Form Parameter=Wert angehangen und mit & verknüpft. Also zum Beispiel http://www.google.com/search?q=parameter&ql=de für die Suche nach “parameter” in “de” (Deutschland).
In der URL muss das ein oder andere Zeichen encodiert werden, damit es korrekt dargestellt wird. Davon sind unter anderem Umlaute betroffen. Mit der folgenden Suche findet Ihr einige nützliche Programme mit denen Ihr die Zeichen korrekt encodieren könnt:http://www.google.de/search?q=url+encoder
Diese Parameter können zum Beispiel für automatisierte Suchen verwendet werden.
Die Suchbegriff-Parameter (q, as_epq, as_lq, as_oq, as_q, as_rq)
Mindestens einer der folgenden Parameter muss angegeben werden.
- q
Dies ist das Feld, in welches der Benutzer, unter google.com seinen Suchbegriff eingibt.
Beispiel für die Suche nach dem Begriff “Parameter”:
- as_epq
Definiert Frasen die im Suchergebnis vorkommen müssen. Bei der einfachen Eingabe von “Google” und “Suche” wird nach beiden Begriffen unabhängig voneinander gesucht. Wenn man allerdings “Google Suche” eingibt, muss die gesamte Phrase genauso gefunden werden. Genau dies macht der Parameter as_epq.
Beispiel für die Suche nach der Phrase “google suche”:
- as_lq
Sucht nacht Seiten, welche einen Link zur angegebenen Seite enthalten.
Beispiel für die Suche nach Seiten mit Links zu “www.google.de”:
- as_oq
Oder Verknüpfung in der Suche. Die angegebenen Begriffe oder Phrasen (Mit Leerzeichen getrennt) werden mit einer oder-Verknüpfung gesucht. Die Ergebnisse müssen also entweder $Begriff1 oder $Begriff2 enthalten.
Beispiel für die Suche nach dem Begriff “urlaub” und entweder “paris” oder “london” :
- as_q
Angabe von Suchbegriffen (Prinzipiell also per & mit den anderen Such-Parametern verknüpft).
Beispiel für eine Suche nach dem Begriff “Nintendo” und “SNES”:
- as_rq
Gibt Ergebnisse für Verwandte (ähnliche Seiten aus).
Beispiel für eine Suche nach ähnlichen Seiten wie “google.com”:
- as_sitesearch
Für die Suche nach Ergebnissen von dieser Domain (Internetseite).
- as_dt
Gibt an ob der Sitesearch-Parameter von der Suche in- oder excludiert wird.
Beispiel für die Suche nach dem Begriff “exmon” auf allen Seiten ausser http://exmon.de:
